Arsenal welcomed Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium earlier this evening as they looked to secure a positive result at home. The Gunners made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 11th minute when Thomas Partey found the back of the net. The North London outfit managed to keep their narrow lead intact and went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Alexandre Lacazette put some daylight between the two teams as he scored his penalty in the 59th minute. Arsenal ended up cruising to a 2-0 win at the Emirates.

Let’s take a look at how each Arsenal player performed during the match against the Foxes.

GK: Aaron Ramsdale – 7.5/10

The Gunners keeper made a world-class save to deny Harvey Barnes an equaliser in the first half. He was solid at the back and has got a clean sheet to show for his efforts.

RB: Cedric Soares – 6.5/10

He made two important clearances inside his half but struggled to influence the game in the final third.

CB: Ben White – 7.5/10

White earned the ball back a few times and did not shy away from putting his foot through the ball when needed. He was also a threat at the other end.

CB: Gabriel – 7/10

The Brazilian centre-back kept a solid defensive shape at the back and did enough to restrict the opposition from scoring.

Saka tracked back to help his teammates out at the back when needed and was a constant threat in the final third.
