Manchester City entertained Fulham at the Etihad Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a victory and book a spot in the next round of the FA Cup. The Mancunian giants made a poor start to the game and shipped in the opening goal in the fourth minute when Fabio Carvalho found the back of the net.

However, Ilkay Gundogan equalised for the home team just two minutes later when he scored with a good finish. John Stones completed the turnaround with a solid header in the 13th minute as Man City cruised to a 2-1 lead at half-time.

Riyad Mahrez made the result secure when he converted his penalty in the 53rd minute before going on to score again just four minutes later with a right-footed finish. The contest ended with Pep Guardiola’s men securing an emphatic 4-1 win at home.

Let’s take a look at how each Man City player performed during the match against Fulham.

GK: Zach Steffen – 6.5/10

Steffen made a couple of decent saves but will be disappointed for conceding such an early goal.

RB: Kyle Walker – 6.5/10

The English talent did his fair share of defending but failed to influence the game in the Fulham half.

CB: John Stones – 8/10

He dealt with mostly everything that came his way after conceding an early goal. Stones even got his name on the scoresheet which gave Man City the all-important lead in the 13th minute.

CB: Nathan Ake – 6/10

Ake produced an unimpressive display on the defensive end of the field but was accurate with his passing.
