Barcelona entertained Athletic Bilbao at the Nou Camp earlier tonight as they looked to pick up maximum points from this home clash. The Catalan outfit made a bright start to the game as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang opened the goal-scoring in the 37th minute. Xavi’s men cruised to a 1-0 lead at the half-time break.

Barca ramped up the pressure towards the final quarter of the game and doubled their advantage in the 73rd minute when Ousmane Dembele found the back of the net with an excellent finish. Luuk de Jong got his name on the scoresheet in the 90th minute before Memphis Depay put the icing on the cake for the home side in injury-time with another goal.

Let’s take a look at how each Barcelona player performed during the clash against Athletic Bilbao.

GK: Marc-André ter Stegen – 7.5/10

The German keeper made a few decent saves during the game and secured an impressive clean sheet at home.

RB: Dani Alves – 8/10

The Brazilian talent didn’t put a foot wrong on the defensive end of the field. He even created a couple of key chances in the opponent’s half.

CB: Ronald Araujo – 7/10

He performed his defensive duties well and did enough to restrict the Bilbao attackers from scoring during the 90 minutes.

CB: Gerard Pique – 8/10

The Spaniard got stuck in with some solid tackles and cleared his lines when required. He was a threat at the other end as well.
