Antonio To Lead The Line | 4-2-3-1 West Ham United Predicted Lineup Vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

Must Read

As we reach another week of Premier League’s top 4 drama, now it’s time for the two ‘outsiders’ in the top 4 race to lock horns to gain an advantage over one another. Wolves travel to the London Stadium with a chance to put a dent on West Ham’s top 4 hopes while establishing themselves as one of the prime contenders for that 4th spot.

We expect only one change from West Ham’s last weekend’s draw against Newcastle which was indeed a patchy affair, and West Ham would certainly like to improve to keep themselves in the top 4 race. Ben Johnson would return to the starting lineup in place of Ryan Fredericks, who was subbed off by David Moyes during the half-time due to a poor first 45 mins.

Defence

Lukasz Fabianski will keep his place between the sticks and will hope to get a clean sheet after only achieving one in his last five games.

Issa Diop and Craig Dawson will start at the heart of the defence. Ben Johnson and Aaron Creswell will face the steep task of playing as full-backs against Wolves as we know how good Wolves are at using the width of the pitch.

Midfield

In midfield, we’re going to see the use of a double-pivot from David Moyes with Tomas Soucek partnering the highly-rated Englishman Declan Rice in the middle of the pitch.

Said Benrahma is going to start in the hole just behind the centre-forward, and will keep on interchanging positions with Pablo Fornals, who is expected to start on the left side of the pitch.

Attack

Jarrod Bowen, who has arguably been the player of the season for West Ham, would start from the right. Bowen has previously scored 3 goals from five appearances against Wolves with two of them coming from the last time Wolves visited the London stadium.

Michail Antonio is set to start upfront, and would love to turn his form around with his last goal coming almost 40 days ago.
