Real Madrid entertained Elche at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier today as they hoped to collect all three points at home. Los Blancos dominated the ball in the first half but conceded the opening goal in the 42nd minute when Lucas Boye scored with a good header. The Madrid side went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.

It was a similar story in the second half as Carlo Ancelotti’s men struggled to break the opposition down. Surprisingly, Elche doubled their lead in the 76th minute via Pere Milla’s finish. Just six minutes later, Luka Modric got a goal back for the Madrid giants from the penalty spot to make things interesting before Eder Militao equalised for the home team in injury-time with a great header. The contest finished with Real Madrid earning a last-gasp 2-2 draw in front of their fans.

Let’s take a look at how each Real Madrid player performed during the clash against Elche.

GK: Thibaut Courtois – 6/10

The Belgian keeper didn’t make a save in the game and won’t be pleased after conceding in each half.

RB: Lucas Vazquez – 6.5/10

He got stuck in with some solid tackles and managed to create some decent chances for his teammates in the final third.

CB: Eder Militao – 7/10

Militao had a tough game on the defensive end of the field but did well to rescue a point for his side by scoring in injury-time.

CB: David Alaba – 6/10

He looked shaky at the back but deserves credit for creating one good chance in the Elche half.

LB: Ferland Mendy – 7/10

CM: Luka Modric – 7/10

The Croatia international caused a few problems for the opposition and kept his composure to convert his penalty.

CM: Casemiro – 8/10

The Brazilian talent made multiple tackles in midfield to break up some of Elche’s attacks and was unfortunate not to score today.

CM: Toni Kroos – 6.5/10

He created a couple of inviting opportunities for others around him but failed to register a goal.

RW: Eden Hazard – 6/10

Hazard had some bright moments in the game but failed to threaten the Elche goal.

ST: Karim Benzema – 6/10

The French striker missed a penalty in the first half and could only last 57 minutes.

LW: Vinicius Junior – 8.5/10

He made plenty of dangerous runs with the ball and ended the game with an assist to his name.

ST: Luka Jovic – 6/10

Jovic offered very little after coming off the bench.

RW: Rodrygo – 6/10

He didn’t get too many sniffs at goal.

Isco struggled to get into the flow of the game.

He failed to influence the game in the opponent’s half.
