Manchester United entertained Young Boys at Old Trafford earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a positive result in front of their home supporters. The Red Devils made a good start to the game and got their noses ahead in the ninth minute courtesy of Mason Greenwood’s goal. However, Fabian Rieder equalised for the visitors in the 42nd minute which meant that both sides went into the half-time interval with a 1-1 scoreline.
The Mancunian giants lacked the cutting edge in the second half and were unable to break the opposition defence again as the contest ended 1-1 with both teams sharing the points.
