Chelsea entertained Juventus at Stamford Bridge earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a positive result in this crucial UEFA Champions League group-stage game. The Blues managed to make a strong start to the contest and took the lead in the 25th minute courtesy of Trevoh Chalobah’s excellent finish. The West London outfit did well to get to half-time with a narrow 1-0 advantage.

Reece James doubled his team’s lead just ten minutes into the second half with a powerful strike before Callum Hudson-Odoi made the points secure for the Blues just three minutes later when he found the back of the net from close range. Timo Werner added another goal late in the game as the contest finished with Thomas Tuchel’s men earning an impressive 4-0 victory at home.

Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player performed during the clash against Juventus.

GK: Edouard Mendy – 6.5/10

The Blues goalie made a couple of solid saves at the back and did enough to come away with a clean sheet from this game.

CB: Trevoh Chalobah – 8/10

Chalobah was defensively solid throughout the game and deserves credit for scoring the opening goal with a brilliant strike in the 25th minute.

CB: Thiago Silva – 8/10

The Brazilian defensive ace made a vital goal-line clearance to deny the opposition a goal. He will be quite pleased with the clean sheet tonight.

CB: Antonio Rudiger – 7.5/10

He cleared his lines when required on the defensive end of the field and ended the game with an assist to his name.

Kante was quite lively in the opponent’s half but was taken off in the 36th minute.

CM: Jorginho – 8/10

The Italy international made multiple interceptions at the centre of the park and made life easy for his teammates at the back.

RAM: Hakim Ziyech – 7/10
