Barcelona clashed heads with Celta Vigo at the Abanca-Balaídos earlier today as they hoped to earn a positive result on their travels. The Catalans made a quick start to the contest and managed to make the opening breakthrough in the fifth minute courtesy of a curled effort from Ansu Fati. Sergio Busquets doubled Barca’s advantage just 13 minutes later when he found the back of the net with a low shot. The visitors were not done yet as they added another goal in the 34th minute when Memphis Depay scored with a glancing header. Barca went into the half-time interval 3-0 up on the scoreline.
The Catalans giants made life difficult for themselves in the second half after conceding their first goal just seven minutes into the second half when Iago Aapas pulled a goal back for Celta Vigo. Nolito made things really interesting as he scored in the 74th minute before Iago Aapas scored a dramatic injury-time equaliser for the home team. The match ended with both teams sharing the points after playing out an entertaining 3-3 draw in La Liga.

The German keeper could have done better to prevent Aspas’ goal. He will be disappointed after conceding three goals in the second half.
RB: Oscar Mingueza – 6.5/10
He made a few crucial interceptions at the back and cleared the danger when needed. However, his efforts were not enough for Barca to win this game.
CB: Eric Garcia – 7/10
Garcia kept a solid defensive shape inside his half and pulled off a few important clearances in the first half. He got replaced at half-time.
CB: Clement Lenglet – 6.5/10
The Frenchman didn’t take too many chances when putting his foot through the ball and earned the ball back a couple of times for his team. However, he won’t be pleased after shipping in three goals in the second half.

LB: Jordi Alba – 7/10
The Spaniard was far from convincing at the back, especially in the second half but deserves credit for picking up two assists during the game.

The talented youngster completed a lot of eye-catching dribbles in the opponent’s half and has got an assist to show for his efforts. He was substituted before the hour mark.

He made some decent chances for others around him and got his name on the scoresheet with a good strike in the first half.
CM: Frenkie de Jong – 8/10
De Jong made plenty of promising runs with the ball from midfield and was unfortunate to hit the crossbar.
RW: Gavi – 7/10
He did his fair share of defending but struggled to make an impact in the final third.
ST: Memphis Depay – 7.5/10
The Dutch attacker found the back of the net with a good header. He also created two good chances for his teammates to score.
LW: Ansu Fati – 7.5/10
Fati gave Barca an early lead with a great strike. He was taken off at half-time.
