Manchester City entertained Burnley at the Etihad Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a routine victory at home. Pep Guardiola’s men made a bright start to the game and got themselves ahead in the 12th minute via Bernardo Silva’s goal. The home side controlled the game well and went into the half-time interval with a narrow one-goal lead.
Kevin De Bruyne finally made the points for the Mancunian giants in the 70th minute when he found the back of the net. The contest ended with Man City securing an impressive 2-0 win in front of their home supporters.
Let’s take a look at how each Man City player performed during the match against the Clarets.

The English centre-back was strong in the air and did enough work defensively to secure the shutout.
CB: Aymeric Laporte – 7/10
He got stuck in with a couple of tackles and was quite solid inside his half. Laporte got replaced in the 71st minute.

The English winger had a few lively moments in the game but didn’t get too many sniffs at goal.
LW: Phil Foden – 6.5/10
