Haaland has already put in a series of mesmerizing displays as the focal point of Borussia Dortmund’s attack. The 21-year-old has found the back of the net on 11 occasions and grabbed four assists in eight matches for the German outfit this season across all fronts.
The Leeds-born marksman has proven himself to be a world-class centre-forward at Signal Iduna Park by averaging 5.2 shots, 1.4 key passes and 1.2 dribbles per 90 minutes in the Bundesliga. Haaland has transformed himself into one of the best finishers in European football. He can score goals for fun in the final third and can use his 1.94m frame to outjump his marker and win some headers for his team. The Norwegian striker is getting better with each season, so Man City will do well to win the race to recruit him at the end of this campaign.
As long as Haaland can work on improving his passing accuracy, he should have no problem settling into Pep Guardiola‘s style of play in English football. There is no doubt that the Dortmund star will add a lot of firepower to Man City’s attacking department.
