Leeds United entertained Watford at Elland Road earlier today as they hoped to grab maximum points at home. The Whites made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 18th minute courtesy of Diego Llorente’s excellent finish. Marcelo Bielsa’s men kept a good shape at the back and went into the half-time break with a one-goal lead.

Both teams canceled each other out in the second half as the match ended with the West Yorkshire outfit grinding out a 1-0 victory in front of their home supporters.

Let’s take a look at how each Leeds United player fared during the clash against the Hornets.

GK: Illan Meslier – 6.5/10

The Whites goalie pulled off one save in the game and secured an easy clean sheet today.

RB: Jamie Shackleton – 7/10

Shackleton made some strong tackles and didn’t take too many risks when clearing his lines at the back.

CB: Diego Llorente – 7.5/10

Llorente gave his team the lead with a great finish in the 18th minute. He defended with conviction inside his half and has also got a clean sheet to show for his efforts.

CB: Liam Cooper – 7/10

He maintained a solid defensive shape inside his half and did enough to restrict the opposition from scoring.

RM: Raphinha – 7/10

The Brazilian winger had plenty of chances to find the back of the net but didn’t have his shooting boots on today.

CM: Stuart Dallas – 7/10

Dallas was a constant threat in the Watford half and even made two key chances in the final third.
