Barcelona will welcome Real Madrid at the Nou Camp this weekend as both sides try to go all out in search of the three points. The Catalan outfit managed to pick up a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Dynamo Kyiv earlier this month. Similarly, Los Blancos also secured an impressive 5-0 win over Shakhtar Donetsk in midweek. Therefore, we can expect both teams to be confident about their chances of success in La Liga this Sunday afternoon.

Talking Tactics

Ronald Koeman will probably stick with his preferred 4-3-3 formation and is expected to ask his players to dominate possession of the ball and create enough chances to score a few goals during the 90 minutes.

Carlo Ancelotti will opt for a 4-3-3 set-up as well and could be inclined to keep changes to a minimum this weekend. The Italian tactician will instruct his players to keep a solid shape in both halves and feed some decent through balls to Vinicius Junior, Karim Benzema and Rodrygo on the counter.

Team News

Barcelona

Ousmane Dembele, Martin Braithwaite, Pedri and Ronald Araujo will definitely miss this game due to injury. Jordi Alba is a slight concern for this game as he has a dead foot.

Barcelona Predicted XI

Ter Stegen, Mingueza, Pique, Lenglet, Alba, de Jong, Busquets, Gavi, Dest, Depay, Fati

Real Madrid

Dani Ceballos, Gareth Bale, Daniel Carvajal, Isco, Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic will all be sidelined because of injury. Otherwise, Ancelotti doesn’t have any fresh injury concerns to cope with ahead of this match.

Real Madrid Predicted XI

Courtois, Vazquez, Militao, Alaba, Mendy, Kroos, Casemiro, Modric, Vinicius Jr., Benzema, Rodrygo

Key Men

Barcelona

Marc-André ter Stegen can expect a busy afternoon’s work, so he has to be at his best if Barca are to come out on top this weekend. Both Ansu Fati and Memphis Depay will carry most of the goal-scoring burden for the Catalans in the final third.

Real Madrid

Karim Benzema has been enjoying the form of his life this season, so he will be expected to find the back of the net for Los Blancos in this Clasico. The effectiveness of Luka Modric and Vinicius Junior could go a long way in determining the outcome of this highly anticipated clash in La Liga.
