Arsenal clashed heads with Brighton and Hove Albion at the American Express Community Stadium earlier today as they looked to earn a positive result on their travels. Both sides fought tooth and nail in the first half but struggled to break each other down as they went into the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.

It was a similar story in the second 45 minutes as neither team managed to find the cutting edge in the final third. The contest finished 0-0 as the Gunners came away with a point from Brighton.

Let’s take a look at how each Arsenal player performed during the clash against the Seagulls.

GK: Aaron Ramsdale – 7/10

Ramsdale made a couple of decent saves and earned a solid clean sheet on the road.

RB: Takehiro Tomiyasu – 6.5/10

He kept things tidy when defending inside his half but struggled to influence the game in the opposition half.

CB: Ben White – 7/10

White cleared the danger when in risk of being exposed at the back. He was also good on the ball and made one decent chance going forward.

CB: Gabriel – 7/10

The Brazilian defender didn’t take too many chances with his clearances and was a strong presence in the air.

LB: Kieran Tierney – 6/10

CM: Thomas Partey – 6.5/10

He helped his teammates out at the back when the Seagulls were on the offensive. Partey also had a few good moments in the opposition half.

CM: Albert Sambi Lokonga – 7/10

Lokonga performed well to anchor the midfield and passed the ball with a lot of conviction.

LW: Emile Smith Rowe – 7/10

The English winger had some lively moments in the attacking end of the field but didn’t do enough to score today.

CAM: Martin Odegaard – 6/10

He struggled to get into the game and got replaced after the hour mark.

RW: Bukayo Saka – 6.5/10

Saka created some decent openings for his teammates but didn’t get too many sniffs at goal.

ST: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – 6/10

Aubameyang was a frustrated figure in the Brighton half and got substituted in the 71st minute.

Substitutes:

RW: Nicolas Pepe – 6/10

He added some energy to Arsenal’s attack.

ST: Alexandre Lacazette – 6/10

Lacazette hardly got a sight at goal.

CM: Ainsley Maitland-Niles – N/A

He hardly had any time to influence the game.
