Everton welcomed Burnley at Goodison Park earlier tonight as they looked to earn a positive result in front of their home supporters. Both sides cancelled each other out in the first 45 minutes as they went into the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.

Ben Mee gave the Clarets a surprise lead in the 53rd minute when he found the back of the net with a good header. However, it took just seven minutes for the home side to come with an equalizer courtesy of Michael Keane’s headed effort. Andros Townsend completed the turnaround for the Toffees in the 65th minute when he scored with a great strike from outside the box. Just a minute later, Demarai Gray made the points secure for the Toffees as he got in on the goal-scoring act as well. The contest ended with the Merseyside outfit securing an impressive 3-1 win at home.

Let’s take a look at how each Everton player performed during the match against the Clarets.

GK: Jordan Pickford – 7/10

The English keeper made some solid saves to restrict the Burnley attackers to just one goal. However, he will be disappointed after conceding an early second-half goal.

CB: Yerry Mina – 7.5/10

Mina was an unstoppable force in the air as he won plenty of headers against the Clarets attackers. He performed his defensive duties well which will please Rafael Benitez.

CB: Ben Godfrey – 6.5/10

He kept things solid at the back and won his fair share of aerial duels as well.

CB: Michael Keane – 8/10

Keane made a few important interceptions and cleared the danger when needed. He also scored Everton’s all-important equalizer via a solid header after being set up by Townsend.
