Chelsea faced off against Tottenham Hotspur at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier this evening as they hoped to continue their excellent form in the Premier League by picking up maximum points on the road. Thomas Tuchel’s men were a bit off the pace in the first half and went into the half-time interval with a goalless scoreline.
Thiago Silva scored the opening goal of the game in the 49th minute when he found the back of the net with a good header. N’Golo Kante doubled Chelsea’s lead just eight minutes later when he scored with a deflected attempt. Antonio Rudiger added another goal late in the game as the Blues cruised to a 3-0 win in the London derby.
