Tottenham Hotspur faced off against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux Stadium earlier today as they looked to pick up all three points on the road. Spurs made a bright start to the game and took the lead in the ninth minute courtesy of Dele Alli’s penalty. Nuno Espirito Santo’s men hung on to their narrow advantage and went into the half-time break one goal up the scoreline.

The North London outfit defended valiantly in the second 45 minutes and managed to grind out a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Wolves, much to the delight of the traveling Tottenham supporters at the Molineux.

Let’s take a look at how each Tottenham player performed during the match against Wolves.

GK: Hugo Lloris – 8/10

The French goalie made multiple saves to keep his team ahead in the game. He has got a well-deserved clean sheet to show for his efforts.

RB: Japhet Tanganga – 7/10

Tanganga was strong in the air and made several important clearances during the game. He will be quite happy with the clean sheet today.

CB: Davinson Sanchez – 7/10

He cleared his lines when required and even put his body on the line to block a few shots from the opposition.

CB: Eric Dier – 7/10

Dier didn’t take too many risks when putting his foot through the ball. However, he was a bit untidy with his passing.

LB: Reguilon – 7/10

The Spaniard hardly put a foot wrong in the game when defending inside his half. However, his impact on the game was minimal in the Wolves half.

CM: Pierre-Emile Højbjerg – 7.5/10

Hojbjerg protected his backline quite well and even made a couple of promising runs going forward. He was also very accurate with his passing.

CM: Oliver Skipp – 6.5/10

Skipp got stuck with a few tackles which hampered Wolves’ rhythm a bit at the centre of the park. However, he failed to influence the game in the final third.

CM: Dele Alli – 8/10

Alli kept his composure and scored his penalty to give Spurs the lead in the ninth minute. He also did his fair share of defending during the game.

RW: Lucas Moura – 6.5/10

The Brazilian worked his socks off to help his teammates out at the back. However, he never got a sniff at goal.

ST: Heung-min Son – 6/10

The South Korean striker had a couple of bright moments but it was an off-day for him in front of the Wolves goal.

LW: Steven Bergwijn – 7/10

He stretched the opposition backline quite well with his running and was a constant menace for the Wolves defenders.

RW: Giovani Lo Celso – 6.5/10

The Argentine talent made a good chance after coming off the bench.

ST: Harry Kane – 6/10

Kane was quite lively in the final quarter of the game.

CM: Harry Winks – N/A

He hardly had any time to make an impact.
