Barcelona entertained Getafe at the Nou Camp earlier today as they looked to secure maximum points at home. The Catalan side made a dream start to the game as they scored the opening goal in the second minute courtesy of Sergi Roberto’s finish from close range. However, the home team’s lead lasted for only 16 minutes as Getafe found the leveler via Sandro Ramirez’s strike from 18 yards out. Ronald Koeman’s men got their noses ahead once again at the half-hour mark when Memphis Depay scored with a low shot. Barca went into the half-time break 2-1 up on the scoreline.

Both sides canceled each other out in the second 45 minutes as the Catalan giants secured a narrow 2-1 victory in front of their home supporters.

Let’s take a look at how each Barcelona player performed during the match against Getafe.

GK: Marc-André ter Stegen – 6.5/10

The German keeper made a couple of decent saves during the game but will be disappointed for not earning a clean sheet.

RB: Emerson Royal – 6/10

He made two important interceptions at the back but struggled to influence the game in the Getafe half. He got replaced after the hour mark.

CB: Ronald Araujo – 6.5/10

Araujo cleared his lines when needed and did enough work defensively to restrict the opposition to just one goal.

CB: Clement Lenglet – 7/10

The French defensive ace timed his tackles well to earn possession back a few times for his side. He deserves credit for producing a commanding display on the defensive end of the field.
