England locked horns with Ukraine at the Stadio Olimpico earlier tonight, hoping to pick up a win in the quarter-finals of the Euro 2020 tournament. The Three Lions tore apart Ukraine’s defence as Harry Kane, Harry Maguire, and Jordan Henderson got their names on the scoresheet to make it a comfortable 4-0 win.

Let’s take a look at how each England player fared during the clash against Ukraine.

England Players Rated In Win Vs Ukraine

Jordan Pickford 7.5

The Everton shot-stopper was hardly put to any sort of test between the sticks, but he looked a bit nervous in the closing moments.

Kyle Walker 7

The Manchester City right-back carelessly gave away the ball on a couple of occasions in the first half, which the Ukrainian frontmen could have punished.

John Stones 8

John Stones was a rock at the back tonight. Not only did he make important clearances and tackles from time to time, but he also played some precise long balls to help develop his side’s attack.

Harry Maguire 8.5

The Manchester United centre-back kept things in order at the back, and he even got his name on the scoresheet early in the second half. He coordinated well with John Stones throughout the 90 minutes and helped his side secure a well-deserved clean sheet.

Luke Shaw 9

With two assists in under 50 minutes, Shaw put up a phenomenal performance down the left flank. He had a big influence on the attacking side of the game as he linked up well with Sterling to progress upfield.

Declan Rice 8

The West Ham United man played a crucial role at the centre of the park yet again tonight as he made some important tackles to put an end to the Ukrainian build-ups.

Kalvin Phillips 7.5

The Leeds United midfielder didn’t have a lot of defending to do, but his ball distribution to impressive, to say the least. He wasn’t hesitant about playing forward passes either.

Raheem Sterling 8

The Manchester City winger set up the first goal for Harry Kane with an exquisite through ball. He created all sorts of menace for the opposition defenders down the left wing as he could carve his way past them with little to no effort.

Jadon Sancho 7.5

Sancho played some quick 1-2’s to keep the attacks going, and just like Sterling, he could dribble past his markers as well.

Mason Mount 7.5

The Chelsea starlet’s link-up play was exceptionally well. He even got himself the assist for Jordan Henderson’s goal.

Harry Kane 9

The Tottenham striker bagged two goals tonight to help the Three Lions secure a place in the semi-finals of the tournament.
