Manchester City entertained Tottenham Hotspur at the Etihad Stadium earlier this evening hoping to stretch their lead at the top of the Premier League table. Pep Guardiola’s men made a bright start to the game as they got themselves ahead in the 23rd minute courtesy of Rodri’s penalty. Man City kept their narrow advantage intact and went into the half-time interval one goal to the good.
The Premier League leaders maintained their dominance in the second half as Ilkay Gundogan scored a quick-fire brace to give the Mancunian giants a comfortable 3-0 victory over Jose Mourinho’s players.
