Liverpool will travel to Selhurst Park to clash heads with Crystal Palace in the Premier League hoping to secure maximum points and consolidate their position at the top of the league standings. The Reds have enjoyed a near flawless start to this campaign so their confidence will be sky-high heading into this encounter versus the Eagles.

Jurgen Klopp will opt for a 4-3-3 formation but will be sweating on the fitness of Andrew Robertson, Jordan Henderson and Mohamed Salah.

4-3-3 Liverpool Predicted Lineup To Face Crystal Palace

Alisson Becker will operate in goal for the Reds despite keeping just one clean sheet in the English top-flight this term. Joel Matip is still sidelined with an injury which means that Dejan Lovren will once again lineup alongside Virgil Van Dijk at the heart of the Liverpool defence. The Croatian defender performed well against Manchester City before the international break so he should be confident heading into this clash away at Selhurst Park.

Andrew Robertson is a major doubt for this encounter as he is struggling with an ankle problem. The Scottish full-back will be in a race against time to be fit for this weekend’s league match. If he fails to recover in time, then Klopp will have no choice but to deploy James Milner as a makeshift left-back.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is a nailed-on starter at right-back following his impressive display versus the Citizens earlier this month. He will once again pose a significant threat to the opposition from dead-ball situations. The Reds need to keep a few shut-outs at the back as the front players can’t keep bailing them out every week.

Liverpool could stick with their strongest midfield three of Georginio Wijnaldum, Fabinho and Jordan Henderson. However, Henderson is a slight concern for the game and could miss out if he fails to pass a late fitness test. If the Liverpool skipper is ruled out, then Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain might get a start in midfield.

Klopp’s midfielders will be expected to press high up the pitch and dictate proceedings at the centre of the park. Both Naby Keita and Adam Lallana will be a part of the Reds bench but might get a chance to make an impact if needed.

Mohamed Salah is currently struggling with an ankle problem, so he is a major worry for the contest against Roy Hodgson’s men on Saturday. If he fails to recover in time, then Divock Origi might get a start alongside Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane as part of the Liverpool frontline.

Mane is enjoying a terrific run of form in the Premier League this season. Hence, he will be confident about his chances of scoring versus the Eagles this weekend.
