According to an exclusive report by Calciomercato journalist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea’s midfielder destroyer N’Golo Kante is said to be held in extremely high regard by the Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici. However, no negotiations have ever been held between Juventus and the player and that the Italian side are not in a position to sanction a move for him.
It has also been claimed that the Blues will hold out on getting at least €100m for their man, who is considered to be one of the best players in the world. Fabrizio Romano further goes on to say that the Old Lady aren’t in the financial condition to go through with such a big transfer again in the near future.
What Does Fabio Paratici See In N’Golo Kante?
The French World Cup winner has been a hallmark of consistency, ever since he moved to the Premier League to join Leicester City all those years ago. Now a Chelsea player, it’s incredible to see how he hasn’t dropped off the pace for a single second in between.
When fully match-fit, he is effectively assured to be the first name on the team-sheet. The amount of energy and dynamism he brings to the Blues midfield cannot be put into words, and having recently added attacking attributes to his game as well, he is slowly developing into one of the most complete players on the planet.
Unbeatable on his day, Kante can be like a brick wall in the middle of the park, despite boasting a rather diminutive frame. Tackling and defensive positioning just seem to come naturally to the Frenchman, who is a tough man to knock off the ball as well.
The Frenchman uses his physicality and low centre of gravity to maintain balance, even when going into strong challenges. He works twice as hard as any other player on the pitch but doesn’t seem to tire like other players. With an engine like that, it’s no surprise that he’s been a guaranteed starter under any of the managers who’ve taken over at Stamford Bridge.
What Is N’Golo Kante’s Current Situation At Stamford Bridge?
The midfielder is one of the Blues’ most important players, if not the most important. He is, undeniably, the one player in the Chelsea roster that Lampard can’t afford to drop from the starting lineup. The 28-year-old has never expressed a desire to move away from Stamford Bridge, and at least on the face of things, seems to be happy with his current footballing situation.
As per the report, Fabrizio Romano has offered Chelsea fans reassurance about the situation by going on to say that the Frenchman’s contract is armoured and that Roman Abramovich has no intentions of selling him in the summer. He has further gone on to say that Kante is unsellable and that there is no substance behind the rumours whatsoever.
