Real Madrid Ready To Bring In This Manchester United Ace At The Earliest: Right Decision For Zidane?

According to The Express, Real Madrid are getting impatient regarding the signing of Paul Pogba from Manchester United and are ready to get it done at the earliest. The Galacticos have been keen on bringing the Frenchman to the Santiago Bernabeu in a bid to strengthen their squad ahead of the next season.

The Galacticos were unable to make a mark in the last term in any of the competitions they played in and are keen to turn the table around in the next season. They have already brought in players like Eden Hazard, Eder Militao, Luka Jovic and Ferland Mendy to revamp their side and Pogba could be the last piece to complete the puzzle for the Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane.

How Can Pogba Be Influential?

The Frenchman had failed to make a mark since his move to Old Trafford from Juventus until the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the caretaker manager halfway through the last term. The 26-year-old midfield maverick showed his exceptional abilities and helped his side win several matches and eventually ended the season with 13 goals and nine assists to his name.

Though the player is known to have a lot of affinity towards Solskjaer, who has been appointed as the permanent manager of Manchester United, speculations are rife that Pogba is looking for a new challenge away from the Premier League with Real Madrid being the closest to sign him this summer.

As per the reports, the Frenchman is held in high regards by Zinedine Zidane, who wants his compatriot to be a part of his revamped side ahead of the next term. He has made no intentions of hiding his affection for the World Cup winning midfielder, which is indicative of a transformation in the Real Madrid midfield.

In the last term, despite having the stalwarts like Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Casemiro in their lineup, Los Blancos were unable to turn up the heat against even the weakest of the oppositions in the domestic competitions. In the Champions League as well, the defending champions were taken to the sword in their own backyard as Ajax ousted them in the round of 16 matchup.

Where Can He Fit In?

The Galacticos have already shown their intent to make a mark in La Liga as well as in the Champions League in the next term by bringing in players who have been influential for their respective sides in the last season. They have reportedly spent as much as £250m for the acquisition of these players and are seemingly having some unfinished business as far as the transfer market is concerned.

The inclusion of a player like Pogba is expected to have a positive impact on the side as he could shine under the tutelage of Zidane. Pogba’s form has been good in the last term as he had his best season so far since his move to Manchester United. With the player also ready for a new challenge somewhere else, this might be the right time for the Galacticos to bring him in at the Bernabeu this summer to strengthen their squad even further.
