According to CM Journal, Liverpool have submitted a €45 million bid for Sporting CP midfielder Bruno Fernandes. It is believed that the Reds are apparently the first club to make an official bid for the Portuguese international, who has been one of the most in-demand players in the ongoing summer transfer window.
Liverpool will be keen on signing an attacking midfielder, in order to provide competition for the injury-prone Naby Keita as well as Champions League hero Georginio Wijnaldum. Fernandes, in that regards, would be an excellent option for the Reds, having enjoyed a productive campaign with Sporting this past season.
Indeed, the 24-year-old has scored a whopping 32 goals in 53 matches in all competition while mustering 18 assists – making him the most productive central midfield in Europe’s top seven leagues. So essentially, Liverpool’s bid for this stunning midfielder should leave the fans excited about his potential arrival at Anfield.
On the contrary, however, fans have started to question’s CM Journal’s credibility and the lack of documentation behind these reports.
From what I hear, Correio da Manha who've reported a Liverpool bid of 45 million on Bruno Fernandes, is not reliable. Shouldn't take that report seriously. A tabloid selling stories.

The Portuguese source reporting a Liverpool bid of £45m for Bruno Fernandes – Correiho De Manha, is about as reliable as a chocolate teapot.
Wouldn’t believe that rumour until its reported by a more reliable source

Some, however, don’t want Fernandes at all while some are optimistic about his potential arrival to Anfield and everything in between.
I fear Bruno Fernandes overall play is masked by his Free Kicks & Long shots(which are good), plus he's doing it in the Portuguese league.
Ziyech is 26, why isn't he at a top club yet? Roma agreed 30m for him last season…why didn't the big boys bite? Liverpool included. #LFC

Apparently Liverpool have bid for Bruno Fernandes.
I'm taking this one with a pinch of salt, one minute we want him, the next we don't want a midfielder at all.

Try consulting a more reliable source, maybe?

It’s probably needless to say that Sporting would want other clubs to indulge in a bidding war in pursuit of Fernandes, which, in turn, could potentially skyrocket his transfer fee. And Liverpool fans fear the same.
If Liverpool had submitted bid for Bruno Fernandes, then it is best for others to look elsewhere. Although his club would like a bidding war, it is wise for others not to enter the race. The other clubs can look at players they have better chance of getting without bidding higher
