Cahill has just managed to earn 21 minutes of Premier League football under Maurizio Sarri’s tutelage this season. Hence, a change in scenery could help him reignite his career in English football. The 33-year-old is about to embark upon the twilight years of his career, so he is in dire need of playing regularly for his team as his time as a player is gradually running out.

The Hammers can benefit from acquiring the services of an experienced centre-back like Gary Cahill.
