Former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino has urged Liverpool to consider securing the services of Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace during the summer transfer window. In a recent interview with talkSPORT (via the Daily Mirror), Cascarino said, “Well, all of the top-six now are playing attack-minded football.
“Liverpool played Palace last year and I went to the game and Jurgen Klopp was consistently on Alexander-Arnold about Wilf Zaha, you could see it from the sideline.
“Literally tracking his movements, Zaha, the whole game.
“I kept thinking after that game, Klopp really does respect Zaha as a player and he knows how dangerous he is.
“It wouldn’t be a surprise to see him at Liverpool, but he could do a job for any of the top-six.”

Cascarino’s advice could benefit Jurgen Klopp’s side as Zaha is a proven talent in the Premier League who has undoubtedly been Palace’s best player over the past few years. Zaha has featured in 33 matches for Roy Hodgson’s side this term, scoring nine goals while creating eight assists across all competitions. The former Manchester United talent has also earned nine international caps for Ivory Coast and has scored two goals for his nation thus far.
