Tottenham Hotspur played hosts to Bournemouth at Wembley Stadium earlier this afternoon looking to keep their winning run going in the Premier League. Spurs started the match on the front foot and took the lead in the 16th minute courtesy of Christian Eriksen’s goal. The home team kept the pressure on and scored two more goals before half-time courtesy of Heung-min Son and Lucas Moura.

The North London outfit dominated possession in the second half and scored again through Harry Kane in the 61st minute before Heung-min Son put the icing on the cake with his second strike of the night from close range. The match ended with the final score of 5-0 in favour of Spurs as Mauricio Pochettino’s men climbed to the second place in the Premier League standings.

Let’s take a look at how each Spurs player fared during the match against the Cherries.

The Frenchman made two crucial saves in the first half. He was largely untroubled in the second half on his way to securing a comfortable clean sheet on his birthday.

RB: Kyle Walker-Peters – 9/10

The Tottenham youngster announced himself to the world by claiming three assists on the day. He was a joy to watch down the right flank and put in some dangerous crosses from the wide areas. Arguably, Spurs’ best player on the pitch.

The Belgian centre-back kept things stable at the back and commanded his box well to lead Spurs to an easy win against the Cherries.

The French workhorse did the dirty defensive work in midfield and made some outstanding interceptions to help his team retain possession. He worked his socks off at the centre of the park much to the enjoyment of the home supporters.

CAM: Christian Eriksen – 8/10

The Danish midfielder opened the goalscoring with a deflected strike. He went on to set-up Kane with an inch-perfect pass in the second half.

RM: Lucas Moura – 8/10

The Brazilian worked hard for his team and scored the decisive third goal which killed the contest for the away side and made the points secure for Spurs.

ST: Harry Kane – 8/10
