Manchester United faced another disappointing result in their own backyard against Crystal Palace as they were unable to scrap out a win from their 13th match of the season. The game ended with neither side being able to break the deadlock, leaving United in the 7th spot on the Premier League table.

Jose Mourinho’s men looked off-colour throughout the match and were able to take only five shots on target. Their inability to create chances was evident, and it was overall lacklustre performance from the Red Devils. Both sides were denied goals as Cheikhou Kouyate and Romelu Lukaku got the ball into the opposition net but were adjudged offside.

Both the teams had their chances but were unable to make them count. Here are the ratings for the Manchester United players from their draw against Crystal Palace.

David de Gea: 6

Had a quiet game. Made a few regulation saves.

Matteo Darmian: 7

A rare outing for the right back. Had a decent game.

Chris Smalling: 6

Was beaten on a number of occasions by the Palace forwards but held his ground to keep his side out of harm’s way.

Victor Lindelof: 6

Did well to keep the opposition attackers under check. Picked up an injury towards the end of the match.

Ashley Young: 7

Looked to create chances whenever he had the ball. Picked up a yellow card.

Jesse Lingard: 5

Looked far from threatening throughout the match.

Nemanja Matic: 5

Was not able to win many balls in the midfield. Looked off colour.

Paul Pogba: 6

Looked to find openings from the midfield but did not get enough help from his teammates.

Juan Mata: 5

Failed to make an impression as he did not see much of the ball.

Anthony Martial: 6

Looked far from his best and wasted a few chances to put his side in the lead.

Romelu Lukaku: 7

Looked agile on occasions and created problems for the opponents. Was denied a goal for offside while Wayne Hennessey pulled off a brilliant one-handed save from his header later in the match.

Marouane Fellaini: 7

Looked equally dangerous (even without his famous hair) against the Palace midfielders as he vied for the ball.

Marcus Rashford: 5

Failed to create an opening.

Alexis Sanchez: 4

Another lacklustre outing for the Chilean as he could not threaten the opposition.
