West Brom are showing some really strong nerves in the face of relegation and it seems like at the Hawthorns, they very well had a plan that proved to be a thorn for Tottenham Hotspur‘s Champions League qualification race. Mauricio Pochettino’s men are a few points clear of Chelsea but they needed a win more to ease the pressure on themselves.

That, however, did not happen as Jake Livermore scored in the dying minutes from a corner to get a victory for the Baggies.

Here’s how the Tottenham players have been rated after a dismal show.

Hugo Lloris – 7/10

Silent for most of the game and made a terrific save to deny a Harry Kane own goal. He couldn’t do anything as his side conceded though.

Kieran Trippier – 5/10

Provided a sizzling ball to Kane early on but that was it. He struggled with the end product beyond this incident.

Toby Alderweireld – 8/10

Performed like a top professional today. Made superb early challenges on Rondon and McClean and he continued that throughout the game. Spurs will miss a world class defender this summer if they don’t convince him to stay.

Davinson Sanchez – 6/10

Made a really good clearance on the hour mark which was notable but he had a tough task dealing with Rondon. Decent but several positives to take.

Jan Vertonghen – 6/10

Got himself in good positions to help the attack and he was good overall when he needed to defend. Stood out due to his attacking assistance.

Danny Rose – 5/10

Couldn’t do much down the left and picked up a yellow as well.

Victor Wanyama – 7/10

Swept up a lot of balls in front of his defence. He had a fine effort at goal himself but he did put up a good performance.

Christian Eriksen – 6/10

Tried a lot to break down the West Brom defence but he couldn’t really do anything. Made Foster get a hand on his free-kick as well.

Erik Lamela – 5/10

Should have finished a superb chance that the team created but his touch was such a letdown. Nothing special apart from this.

Dele Alli – 5/10

Put in a shift but couldn’t operate in tight areas and was eventually replaced by Son.

Harry Kane – 3.5/10

Looked very rusty, Foster denied one of his very good efforts and he headed one wide. Couldn’t play Lamela through when one great chance presented itself.

Heung Min Son – 5/10

Got a shot at Foster late on but that’s it.

Lucas Moura – N/A

Fernando Llorente – N/A
