Young Arsenal forward Reiss Nelson has been linked with a loan move to the Championship winners Wolverhampton Wanderers. Wolves have been terrific this season as they have wrapped up the title well in advance. Former Porto manager Nuno Espirito Santo has worked wonders with this team and they are looking to bolster their squad for their arrival in the Premier League.

Nelson is just 18 but has been involved in a good amount of first-team football lately. Wenger as a manager is known for his eagerness to provide the young players with a chance to develop by involving them in the first team. As a result, the young winger has racked up 16 appearances this season in all competitions.

Wolves have been backed by their new owners and they have been shrewd in the transfer market. They had 6-7 players on loan who have helped them in some way or the other in achieving top-flight status.

They have not been afraid to break the bank as well as they signed the highly influential Ruben Neves by breaking their all-time transfer record. Now they have set their sights on bringing the Gunners winger at Molineux.

Nelson has been a part of the Arsenal youth system and has been at the London club since the age of eight. He has gradually seen himself establishing through the ranks at the club. He is known for his excellent dribbling skills and has the ability to wriggle out of tight spaces. He is equally blessed in the pace department, however, his decision making in the final third is something which he can improve upon.

It will be interesting to see where the young forward will play in the Wolves setup. He is a natural right winger but can play behind the striker in a more central role as well. Wolves already have the likes of Diogo Jota and Helder Costa at their disposal who have done well this season and Nelson will probably have to bide his time before he replaces them.

However, Santo will know that the top flight will not be a cakewalk and therefore he needs to prepare the squad to face the rigorous challenges of the Premier League. A player like Nelson will certainly be a good addition to the squad and for his overall development, the Championship club can be the right place.
