Liverpool will go head to head with Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League final looking to add to their illustrious history by winning their 6th European Cup. Both teams have no new injury concerns to cope with and will come into this clash in a rich vein of form. The Merseyside outfit will hope that their firepower up top will be enough to claim a victory this weekend in what promises to be a highly entertaining contest at Kyiv’s Olimpiyskiy National Sports Complex.

The history of this fixture slightly favours the Premier League team as they have won three of their five encounters with the Galacticos. Jurgen Klopp is expected to stick with his favoured 4-3-3 formation and may opt to bring back James Milner into his starting XI.

4-3-3 Liverpool Predicted Lineup To Face Real Madrid

Loris Karius will start in goal for the Merseysiders while Simon Mignolet has to once again settle for a place on the bench. The former FSV Mainz goalie might be guarded by a backline of Dejan Lovren and Virgil Van Dijk in central defence while Andrew Robertson operates as the left-back and Trent Alexander-Arnold is deployed on the right-hand side of the back four.

Both Alberto Moreno and Nathaniel Clyne might be available for a place on the bench. Jurgen Klopp will hope that his defenders can be tight at the back versus the Galacticos on Saturday so that they have a solid platform to go on and earn a victory on the night.

The trio of James Milner, Georginio Wijnaldum and captain, Jordan Henderson could be deployed at the centre of the park and the performance of these players will be crucial if the Redmen are to break down the Galacticos defence this weekend. They will be responsible to press high up the pitch and win the 50-50 challenges against the Madrid midfielders.

Adam Lallana and Emre Can might be on the bench for this season-defining encounter against Zinedine Zidane’s team.

The front three would consist of the Brazilian ace, Roberto Firmino spearheading Klopp’s attack while Sadio Mane looks to use his pace and power down the left wing. ‘The Egyptian King’ Mohamed Salah will start on the right side of the Reds attack and will look to register his name on the scoresheet. Both Danny Ings and Dominic Solanke could come off the bench to feature in the final if required.
