Arsenal will travel up north to take on Huddersfield Town at the John Smith’s Stadium looking to end their season on a high. The Gunners are yet to win a point away from home in the league this year so they will be desperate for a positive result in Yorkshire. The occasion will also mark as Wenger’s final game as the manager of Arsenal.

However, the Terriers are in sensational form and have earned back to back draws against Manchester City and Chelsea respectively. Wenger is expected to opt for a 4-3-3 formation and might choose to make some changes for this clash this weekend.

4-3-3 Arsenal Predicted Lineup To Face Huddersfield Town

Petr Cech is expected to start in goal for the away team while David Ospina should be available for a place on the bench. The Czech keeper might be protected by a backline of Callum Chambers and Shkodran Mustafi in central defence while Nacho Monreal operates as a left-back and Hector Bellerin is unleashed on the right-hand side of the back four.

Both Sead Kolasinac and Ainsley Maitland-Niles might be named on the bench and could be called upon during the contest if required. Arsene Wenger will be hoping that his defenders can keep it tight at the back versus the Terriers on Sunday so that they have a good chance of securing maximum points at the John Smith’s Stadium which will also be a perfect send0ff for the French manager.

The midfield trio of Jack Wilshere, Granit Xhaka and Aaron Ramsey could be deployed at the centre of the park and the performance of these players will be extremely significant if the North London outfit are to break down the Huddersfield Town defence this weekend. The trio has slowly been reaching their top form for Arsenal in recent weeks so it is expected that they will put in another strong display in this upcoming contest.

Alex Iwobi could come off the bench for the Gunners during the encounter against David Wagner’s team.

The front three would consist of  Alexandre Lacazette spearheading Wenger’s attack while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang looks to use his pace and trickery down the left-hand side of the Arsenal frontline. Henrick Mkhitaryan will operate on the right wing and might look to register his name on the scoresheet which could help his chances of cementing a place in the Gunners first-team for next season.

Danny Welbeck should be available on the bench for the North London side and might be called upon during the match if required.
