Liverpool are having a good season under Jurgen Klopp as they have punched above their weight, especially in the Champions League. The Merseyside club is probably the favourites to reach the finals after they drew the Italian side As Roma. Such performance hasn’t gone unnoticed as everyone is praising The Reds and the German mastermind behind it.
A sensational report is coming through Spanish media is that Neymar is ready for a switch to Real Madrid if they show the current manager Zinedine Zidane the door. The reports also say that he will like Zidane to be replaced by Jurgen Klopp.
Neymar left Barcelona for a record-breaking transfer fee to the French heavyweights Paris Saint Germain. PSG wanted to challenge for the Champions League by bringing in Neymar but the move didn’t seem to work as the French giants crashed out from the tournament after facing a humbling defeat against Spanish opponents Real Madrid.
PSG have pretty much wrapped up the domestic title but they were expected to do so even without the acquisition of their star Brazilian. PSG can face the wrath of financial fair play this summer as they overestimated their sponsorship deal earnings. In such a scenario, PSG can let go of someone like Neymar to balance their books.
The Galacticos have struggled in the La Liga this season as they have been out of the title race and are currently sitting 3rd, 15 points behind their rivals Barcelona. Their only saving grace this season could be the Champions League. In a case where they fail to win the title, the French Tactician could be sacked as Florentino Perez is known to set high standards.
Real Madrid are constantly being linked with the PFA player of the year and Liverpool’s star man Mohamed Salah. Though Salah has indicated that he will like to stay with the Reds. The Los Blancos can lose out on some of their assets this season as Gareth Bale and Isco are uncertain about their future. In such a scenario one expects the European giants to go in hard for one of their targets in the summer.
It will be interesting to see whether Neymar is one of those targets and if yes, whether they comply with his demand of bringing in Jurgen Klopp to Real Madrid. Such moves look highly unlikely and seems like a story to fill the pages but one cannot ever count anything out.
