Liverpool are hoping to seal a move for Sporting CP midfielder Bruno Fernandes this summer. Some sources are now claiming that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is currently considering whether to launch an official bid for his services this summer after Fernandes put in some eye-catching displays for Sporting CP during the course of this campaign. The Portuguese playmaker scored the winning goal in his side’s thrilling 4-3 victory over Belenenses last weekend.
The 23-year-old midfielder has featured in 52 matches for Sporting CP this season, scoring 14 goals and creating 20 assists in all competitions. The Reds also have one foot in the final of the UEFA Champions League after securing an emphatic 5-2 victory over AS Roma in midweek.
