Leicester City are looking to turn back the tide in their favour this season, having lost their way earlier. Their new manager Claude Puel is looking up for a new challenge and has directed his side in the right way so far this term, leading them to the eighth place in the league table.

The Frenchman was sacked from his post of Southampton manager after their dismal end to the season in the last term and was replaced by Mauricio Pellegrino. However, Leicester took the leap of faith and chose him as their manager after sacking Craig Shakespeare. It seems like the 56-year-old has returned them with desired results in lieu of their faith and will look to do the same in the near future as well.

Puel might not be entirely happy with his current squad at King Power Stadium and might look to add some more players to the side in the next transfer window. One such player, who has been linked with a move to the former Premier League champions in the recent times, is the Chelsea youngster Kyle Scott.

The 20-year-old has been eyed as one of the primary targets for the Foxes, who are looking to beef up their midfield with some young talents. The player, who is yet to make his debut in the Premier League, is known for his ability to control the ball well while making crisp passes to his teammates, letting them to enter the attacking third and score goals. He is also known for his fancy footwork, which is good enough to bamboozle the opposition defenders and make smooth passage into the opposition half.

Leicester City have been looking for a player of his stature who might be able to participate in stabilising the midfield alongside the likes of Demarai Gray, Wilfried Ndidi and Vicente Iborra in the current season. With the January transfer window almost in its verge of commencement, it might be a great opportunity for the Foxes to bag their desired player and let him have some much needed first-team exposure. It will definitely help him develop into a more matured player and become a real asset for his side in the future.

The player’s current contract is on the verge of expiry and he might not be interested in extending the deal with the West London club, as it might see him spend more time on the bench rather than on the pitch. This has interested the Foxes even more and they might make a move for the 20-year-old midfielder without much ado and bring him in to strengthen their midfield, which has looked somewhat shaky since the departure of their English ace Danny Drinkwater in the summer.
