Bournemouth are currently facing a very tough time in the Premier League, having lost six of their last eight matches, fear of relegation lurking over their heads already. They will hope for better results in the future when the season resumes after the international break, but it might not be possible with the lack of quality strike force at their disposal.

The Cherries are desperate to get back into their stride and need someone to inspire their side to a good finish in the top flight just like the last term. They are currently eyeing a number of new players to be brought into the side and it looks like they might be zeroing on the Dutch teenager Steven Bergwijn who is currently playing for the Eredivisie giants PSV Eindhoven.

The 19-year-old has been a revelation in Dutch football over the last couple of seasons, having made a mark with his pace and prowess. He has attracted interests from a number of clubs in Europe, who are constantly scouting him. The South Coast club are also looking to bag the player and it might turn out to be a good move for the Cherries.

Steven Bergwijn is one of the most highly regarded players in Dutch football and may be making his way out PSV in the next transfer window with the likes of Tottenham and West Ham United also keen on his services. The 19-year-old winger has the ability to play on both flanks and is tipped to become one of the future stars of the Netherlands national team.

Bournemouth, on the other hand, have a number of good players in their side but they are currently not able to get the best out of them. The Cherries have scored only four goals so far this season in the Premier League and are presently stranded on the 19th spot on the league table, looking towards possible relegation.

Eddie Howe is hopeful that the 19-year-old Dutchman can provide the much-needed impetus, helping them to turn their fortunes around in the future. The player is one of the brightest youngsters in Netherlands and is awaiting his call to the national team, following their disastrous performances in the European Qualifiers.

However, it might not be easy for the Cherries to bag the player as his present club PSV Eindhoven might not let him leave him in January. So is Bergwijn the right man for Howe and his squad?
