Aston Villa have made a decent start to their season in the Championship, having lost only two of their first 11 matches so far this term. They are currently placed at the seventh position on the league table and are looking forward to improving their position in the future.

The Villans have formed a good cohesive unit this term under the coaching of Steve Bruce, which has led them to five victories this season in the Championship. They are trying their best to win more matches in the future as well and help them to the top of the league table in order to clinch promotion to the top flight for the first time after the 2015/16 season.

Aston Villa has a number of young players at their disposal, among which a few are worth mentioning, including the English goalkeeper Sam Johnstone, who is currently playing on loan from the Premier League biggies Manchester United. The player has been their mainstay beneath the sticks since his arrival at the Villa Park and is expected to be offered a permanent contract in the near future.

This being his second season on loan with the Villans, the 24-year-old has made his way into the first eleven with his brilliant ball-handling skills and his ability to keep a cool and calm head even in the most adverse of situations.

Bruce is well aware of the importance of the English ace in the squad and is considering to tie him down at Villa Park for the next few seasons as well.

The player is one of the most highly rated goalkeepers in the Championship and has already featured in 33 matches so far for the Villans. He has 13 clean sheets to show for his efforts between the sticks and is willing to improve as a player in the future, helping his club reach new heights.

Aston Villa faced a number of defeats in the first half of the last season and were forced to bring in someone capable of displaying good goalkeeping skills for them.

Sam Johnstone was brought into the club on a five-month-long loan term and helped them finish the season at a respectable position. This season, however, the Villans look determined to play better than the way they did in the last term and the 24-year-old custodian is definitely going to play a very important role for them and make it a good season for them.

The Villans are willing to get the player a new permanent contract but whether the player or Manchester United will accept it is completely under speculation at the present moment. So a permanent move to Aston Villa is the right move for Johnstone?
