He led them to the ultimate glory and clinched the winner’s medal, making a mark with his brilliant efforts and the ability to keep a cool head in even the most adverse of situations.
His ball handling skills and ability to marshal the side from beneath the goalpost has attracted the attention of a number of big-name clubs including the likes of Arsenal as well as the reigning Portuguese Primeira Liga champions Benfica. He will be out of contract with the Red Devils after this season and there have been no further talks between the young custodian and Manchester United about a fresh one as of now.
