Borussia Dortmund are on the verge of getting ousted from the group stage of the Champions League this season, having lost both their matches against Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur. Bosz is hoping for some revival when his club takes on Apoel Nicosia in their own backyard. However, it will not be an easy task for them as the Cypriot champions will also be eyeing their maiden win in the Champions League against the German club.
The Schwarzgelben army have looked far from their ominous best in the Champions League and have not been able to contain the might of both their previous opponents who won by big margins on both occasions. It is now a must-win situation for them and they will look to dominate the proceedings from the word go despite the fact that they will be playing at the home ground of Apoel Nicosia.
Dortmund might look to lineup their side as the following for their next encounter.
Defence
The German giants have faced two of the best attacking sides in Europe at the present moment and were unable to clinch a single point from either of the matches. In their next match, they might go in with Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Marc Bartra, Omer Toprak and Dan-Axel Zagadou stabilising their backline.
Roman Burki is expected to start in the goal for Dortmund.
Midfield
The likes of Julian Weigl and Gonzalo Castro are expected to team up with the experienced Japanese international Shinji Kagawa in the midfield, as they will have to vie against a charged up Nicosia lineup in their home ground and ensure that they leave the pitch with all three points in their bag.
The players will have to perform better than what they did in the last two matches, retaining the majority of the ball possession.
Attack
Borussia Dortmund are known to be one of the best-attacking sides in Europe over the last few seasons but they have failed to deliver so far this season in the Champions League.
However, with some of the best forwards in Europe at their disposal in the form of Andriy Yarmolenko, Maximilian Philipp and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the German giants will look to turn their fortune around in what might be a tricky match for them to say the least.
