Manchester United are having a good time in the Premier League as well as the Champions League and are looking to continue their brilliant form in the next matches as well. They have already secured four wins in their last five matches in all competitions and are looking determined to clinch some major silverware this season.
The Red Devils spent some serious cash this summer in order to reshape their side and make it stronger. They brought in quite a few top class players from all over Europe as well as from fellow Premier League clubs like Chelsea and Everton in the form of Victor Lindelof, Nemanja Matic and Romelu Lukaku.
Most of them have started to show their class in their very first season at the Theatre of Dreams and are looking to make their new club successful in the new season.
However, their manager Jose Mourinho is still striving to get the team to perform even better and eradicate every possible loophole, which might deter the progress of his team. He has been looking to get some more players into the side, who have been performing well for their respective clubs in the last few seasons.
Reportedly, the wily manager is looking to bring in the German midfielder Mesut Ozil into the side in the next transfer window that commences in January 2018 to add more flare and accuracy to his team. The ex-Real Madrid playmaker has been an integral part of United’s arch rivals Arsenal since his arrival at the Emirates Stadium in 2013 and has played a very important role in bringing glory to the side by sharpening their attack to a new level.
However, there has been a recent problem relating to the wage structure of the player at the club that has soured the relationship between the player and their present gaffer Arsene Wenger, with the German midfield maestro looking to make a move out of the North London club in the forthcoming season.
His present term with the club will end at the end of this season and the player has already denied to pen down a new contract with the Gunners constantly.
Manchester United are keeping a keen eye on the development of the matter and might make a bid to bring in the player into their side during the next transfer window. Undoubtedly the inclusion of a player like Ozil will help their side to excel in the attacking department and get the ball into the opposition net more often than not. But can Mourinho land him?
