Real Madrid might give an escape route to Julian Draxler. The Germany international has been struggling to get a strong foothold at Paris Saint Germain and won’t mind a move to the Santiago Bernabeu. According to reports, Zidane might make a formal offer for the player in January.

Zinedine Zidane probably has the best-attacking players at his disposal but keeping in mind their hectic schedule, the French gaffer is planning to add some more players to the attacking contingent and Draxler could be more than efficient for him.

The French club has already brought in the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe and it has become a little bit difficult to accommodate the German star in the three-pronged attack. With Edinson Cavani also in the side, Draxler has somewhat become a surplus for them.

Los Blancos wants to give the 24-year-old a chance to shine in the La Liga. With the likes of Isco and Gareth Bale already in the squad, the arrival of Draxler will make them invincible to some extent. The Spanish giants are currently on a ruthless form and Zidane doesn’t want to interrupt the wave.

PSG spent a whopping €222 million for the service of Neymar and in a bid to satisfy the Financial Fair play regulation they need to balance their books and to do that, they have to get rid of some of their star players with higher value and Draxler could fulfil that criteria.

The player has become an inevitable part of the current German squad and led the Germans to the Confederations Cup title. With the World Cup schedule to happen next year, Draxler could play a vital role in Joachim Loew’s side.

This season, the youngster has struggled to integrate into the side. He has started only three games despite being fully fit which speaks volumes about his position at the club.

Draxler moved to France in the last winter transfer window and was quick to adapt to the French environment. According to Spanish media outlet Don Balon,  the player has already been on a house hunting spree in Madrid which might be an indication of a possible move.

The player had also been linked with a number of heavy weigh clubs in the summer but preferred to stay, to have one more shot. But if the current scenario doesn’t change, it would be increasingly difficult for him to cement a place in the World Cup squad. But is a move to Real the right one for him?
