However, the West London club is holding discussions with their superstar to make him stay back at Stamford Bridge for the next season as well.
This might come as a shock to many, but there is a good possibility that the inspirational captain of Manchester United and the highest scorer in their history Wayne Rooney might make a move out of Old Trafford in the summer. The mercurial striker has been far from his prime form in the last few seasons and has been considered more to play as a midfielder rather than upfront. Speculations are rife that the English superstar might be offloaded next term and is on his way to join the Chinese Super League on a big money transfer deal.
