Though the English Premier League is one of the richest and biggest football leagues of the world, other leagues are not much far behind. The Spanish La Liga, the Italian Serie A, the German Bundesliga and in recent times the Chinese Super League, all have been alluring a number of players to take the road out of England and join them. The French Ligue 1 has also been basking in all its glory and has been the home to a number of superstars in modern day football.
In the present summer transfer window, there have been speculations of quite a few players leaving the Premier League to pursue their careers elsewhere. Three such players are-
Alexis Sanchez-
The Chilean marksman has been nothing less than a talisman for his current club Arsenal and has led them to glory on a number of occasions, including their 13th FA Cup victory in the recently concluded season. However, there have been some problems regarding a new contract with the North London club that has restricted the influential striker from offering his long-term future at the Emirates. Speculations are rife that Sanchez might be on his way to the German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, which is very much possible given the fact that his National team colleague Arturo Vidal also plays for the same team.
Eden Hazard-
The Belgian skipper has been in superb form for his club Chelsea and has helped them to lift their sixth Premier League title in the recently concluded season. Now, with repeated interests from clubs outside the Premier League, there is a good possibility that the midfield maestro might join the Spanish giants Real Madrid this summer for what might be looked up as a world record transfer fee amounting to £100 million. However, the West London club is holding discussions with their superstar to make him stay back at Stamford Bridge for the next season as well.
Wayne Rooney-
This might come as a shock to many, but there is a good possibility that the inspirational captain of Manchester United and the highest scorer in their history Wayne Rooney might make a move out of Old Trafford in the summer. The mercurial striker has been far from his prime form in the last few seasons and has been considered more to play as a midfielder rather than upfront. Speculations are rife that the English superstar might be offloaded next term and is on his way to join the Chinese Super League on a big money transfer deal.
