It seems like the Everton juggernaut is not slowing down as of yet in the transfer market and it is going to be one more signing in the form of Sandro Ramirez who has reportedly agreed on terms with the Merseyside club to make a career in England after having a great season with Spanish La Liga club Malaga.
The ex-Barcelona striker is going to be the third signing for the Toffees in the summer transfer market after Davy Klaassen from Ajax and Jordan Pickford from Sunderland.
Ronald Koeman, the man in charge at Goodison Park, is looking to bring in probable replacements for the star striker Romelu Lukaku, who might not be a part of the line-up in the next season. As per sources, the Belgian is much more interested in making a move back to his former club, the defending Premier League champions Chelsea for the next season, which has compelled Everton to look for options up front.
One player, who is looked up by the Dutch mastermind as a perfect replacement for the outgoing marksman is the striker from Italian club Sassuolo, Dominico Berardi. The Italian international has been in good form of late and is eyed by the Merseyside club to fill in for Lukaku in the next season.
The 22-year-old has been in sensational form in the Serie A last season, attracting a lot of interest from a number of clubs from all over Europe. Everton are not strangers to the immensely talented youngster’s capabilities, who has scored ten goals for Sassuolo in the recently concluded season and has also laid down nine assists throughout the last term for his teammates. All of this he did in just 25 appearances for his current club and is presumed to have a great future ahead of him.
Everton might lose out on a number of their star players this season, but they have their eyes set on the players whom they would like to bring in for the next season to strengthen the side. Ramirez might be the one to succeed Lukaku at the Goodison Park, while Berardi might come in as a back-up for the Spaniard in the next season.
Despite a great effort from the Belgian marksman, which saw him finish the season with 26 goals under his belt, Everton finished on the 7th position on the Premier League table. So it will be hard for both Ramirez and Berardi to push Everton to the top in just a season, but seem to be a decent option for Koeman.
