What an amazing job Steven McClaren has done at Pride Park since taking over from Nigel Pearson who had a torrid start with the Rams this season. The Championship giants are on the back of a 10-game unbeaten streak in the Championship and are just one point behind the final playoff spot.
The Rams had to settle for a 0-0 draw against Wigan Athletic on Saturday which will be frustrating for the fans. A win could have landed them in top six. However, there is still plenty of football to be played and if Derby can keep up their impressive run, they should be able to get a top-six place once again this season.
Derby County will travel to Carrow Road on Monday to take on Norwich City who are struggling at the moment despite starting the season really well. The home side are 12th in the table with 34 points and must come up with a much better showing in the second-half of the season to get a playoff spot.
