Chelsea are reportedly set to make a move for AS Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko. The 22 year old midfielder has been in excellent form this season.
With John Obi Mikel set to leave the club and clouds hovering over Cesc Fabregas’ future, Conte is looking to add a midfielder for the long term. Chelsea have the money to spend as they got a whopping £60m after deciding to sell Oscar to Shanghai SIPG.
Bakayoko joined Monaco in 2014 from Rennes and has made almost 50 appearances for the club. An offer from the Blues is imminent although the French club are trying to keep the youngster at the club. Chelsea already have N’Golo Kante in their ranks and should they manage to sign him it would give a huge boost to their Premier League title challenge.
Bakayoko, who has been also monitored by Manchester United, is expected to snub any offer that comes in his way.
