Diego Costa has demanded a whopping £300,000 a week to stay at Stamford Bridge. The striker recently had a row with manager Antonio Conte over his fitness.

The gaffer dropped him in the last match against Leicester City which they won 3-0. Costa was asked to train alone after the bust up but has returned to first team training and is expected to lead the line against Hull City.

The Spaniard has impressed this season having already scored 14 goals in the Premier League so far. The striker now earns a £150,000 per week but wants a double hike from his current wage.

Chelsea are set to open talks with him over a contract extension and are expected to offer him wages in the range of £225,000 a week. He was the subject of a bid from Chinese club Tianjin Quanjian. They were ready to offer a staggering £30m a year for the services of the player.
