A skeptical mystic who likes to channel his inner loneliness into drumming and dissection of football games. Dreams of watching Tottenham play at the new White Hart Lane. Has spent a majority of the last two years on foul-mouthing Moussa Sissoko and worrying about his receding hairline.

Tottenham demolished Swansea City 5-0 at the White Hart Lane after a dominating performance with Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen both scoring two goals each and Heung-Min Son getting a goal to his name as well. Tottenham went ahead in the 39th minute after Dele Alli won a penalty and Harry Kane calmly dispatched from the spot.

The North Londoners extended the lead through Heung Min Son who scored an excellent overhead kick in the beginning of the second half. After that, Tottenham thoroughly dominated the game with Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen finding the back of the net again. Below are Tottenham’s individual player ratings.

Hugo Lloris

Rating: 7

The Frenchman didn’t have much to do with Swansea having only one shot on target.

Kyle Walker

Rating: 8

The right-back had a fantastic game as he not only managed to neutralize Swansea’s left-hand side but had a lot of impact offensively as well.

Eric Dier

Rating: 7.5

Dier had relatively much less to do but did his job well at the back, with a few interceptions and blocks.

Jan Vertonghen

Rating: 8

Vertonghen had a decent game too as he did quite well with his positioning and was also calm and composed at the back.

Danny Rose

Rating: 7.5

With Tottenham dominating, Rose did really well to get into wide positions to enable Tottenham to stretch Swansea wide. His defensive work was quite commendable too.

Victor Wanyama

Rating: 8

Wanyama was a rock defensively and gave Tottenham the dominance in the midfield as he managed to keep possession against several Swansea midfielders.

Moussa Dembele

Rating: 8

Moussa Dembele formed an excellent midfield role with Wanyama which helped Tottenham to not only maintain possession but also recover it quickly and hinder Swansea’s build of play.

Christian Eriksen

Rating: 8.5

Eriksen was quite incisive with his passing and also contributed with two goals. Although he got quite lucky with the first goal, he thoroughly deserved the second one.

Dele Alli

Rating: 8

Alli was immensely influential offensively and formed an excellent partnership with Kane as both the players kept interchanging their positions which made them really difficult to defend against.

Heung-Min Son

Rating: 8.5

Son scored an excellent goal as he found the back of the net with an overhead kick. He was an absolute nuisance to defend against with several great runs down Swansea’s right.

Harry Kane

Rating: 8.5

Kane dispatched calmly from the penalty spot to give Tottenham the lead and scored another good goal after Son laid one from him near the edge of the box. He was excellent throughout the game and was involved in almost everything good for Tottenham.

Moussa Sissoko

Rating: 8

Sissoko made a few decent runs down Swansea’s left and also bagged an assist for Tottenham’s fifth goal.

Harry Winks

Rating: N/A

Winks did not play enough to warrant a rating.

Josh Onomah

Rating: N/A

Onomah did not play enough to warrant a rating.
