Antonio Conte has been looking for a new central defender and Pepe was one of his primary targets.

Pepe will sign a two year contract with an option for a further season. The Portuguese who joined Madrid from Porto in 2007 earlier expressed his interest in spending the rest of his career at Madrid

Pepe will join the likes of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos who already have signed new terms with The Los Blancos. Real are also negotiating a new contract with Cristiano Ronaldo, Isco and Dani Carvajal.
