Chelsea striker Diego Costa has reportedly joined the Spain squad with a groin injury. The striker scored a goal and had an assist to his name during Chelsea’s 5-0 thrashing of Everton. The Spaniard played the full 90 minutes in that match.
Costa is topping the goal scoring chart in the Premier League with nine goals. He has been in great form as Chelsea have won their last five matches including a 4-0 bashing of Manchester United.
Costa reportedly joined the Spanish national side with a slight niggle. However, after examining The Blues front man Spanish medical team has assured that there is no need to worry as the striker has only a groin bruise.
If all goes right The Chelsea striker will be available for the next two matches against Macedonia on 12th November and against England on 15th November. However, if he does aggravate the niggle, Chelsea could struggle in front of goal considering how much of an impact he has had so far.
