German contingent Borussia Monchengladbach will target a double against Celtic when they host the Hoops at Borussia Park on Tuesday. The fourth round game of the UEFA Champions League group stage could very well be the decider for who makes it to the Europa League and who comes back empty handed. In fact, there is a significant chance for the winner of this one to go and have a crack at the second spot if Barcelona beat Manchester City once again.

The two teams met each other a week ago at Parkhead and Celtic lost that time out despite having the control over the game. It was Kolo Toure’s two dreadful errors that led to both two goals for the German side. Celtic have won all three games after that which includes wins over both Rangers and Aberdeen and will be all pumped up for the fixture.

Celtic have an unassailable lead at the top of the Premiership and it looks like they will have another easy title charge whereas Gladbach are struggling in Bundesliga. Both will like a long run in the competition and will be keen to win this game.

Key players

Borussia Monchengladbach- Lars Stindl

Gladbach skipper Stindl is the player who makes them tick. He acts as the bridge between their midfield and attack. The German works his socks off for the team and his movement and creativity are top-notch. This season, the 28-year-old has been brilliant and already has four goals and four assists to his name. Stindl will be the Gladbach player to watch out for.

Celtic- Moussa Dembele

15 goals in all competitions to his name already from 21 games- Dembele has been exceptional at Parkhead this season after his switch from Fulham. The Frenchman is a big game player and Celtic need him to fire against their opponents from Germany.
